Education and capacity building are at the core of the Mic2Food mission. We coordinate specialised Training Schools open to all network members, providing a comprehensive overview of the entire microbial food development process. Our educational programme covers critical steps including the discovery and development of platform strains, upscaling production processes, downstream processing, formulation development, and the food chemistry of microbial products.
